F.T.T. Wolbrom Conveyor Belts, of Wolbrom, Poland, has appointed Strong Point Projects as its accredited distributor for Africa. Wolbrom offers us financial, technical and marketing support.

The Wolbrom Conveyor Belts include:

• Non-inflammable belting (YS) for use in non-fiery underground & opencast mines;
• Hardly inflammable (GTP) belting for use in underground coal mines where the danger of methane gas and coal dust explosion exists and escape is difficult;
• Heat resistant belting which can transport material with temperatures up to 300°C for a short duration.

StrongPoint Projects was established in May 1997 with the objective of marketing high voltage cable couplers and mechanical spares to the opencast mining industry in Southern Africa.

The product range has since increased to include vibration resistant lights and ballast boxes for shovels and drills;  grid resistors for dumptrucks; oil filtration systems for crusher and mill gearboxes and trunnions, as well as, high quality (EN DIN specification) conveyor belting. We have recently added Precision Engineering, Electrical and IT Services and Products to our product range.
